The annual Trailblazer Awards now open for submissions, welcoming entries from book professionals aged 30 or under.
The Trailblazer Awards, run by The London Book Fair, in partnership with the Publishers Association, together with SYP and BookBrunch celebrate young publishers who are demonstrating innovation and ambition in the book industry.
Five Winners are selected by a cross industry judging panel and announced at the fifth annual Trailblazer Awards ceremony in London early in 2020. Deadline is 30 November 2019.
Five winners will receive an impressive package, including dinner at the Society of Book People; free places at LBF conferences, six months BookBrunch subscription, and annual membership to Byte the Book.
How to Enter:
Applicants can enter themselves or nominate a friend or colleague who they believe deserves to be recognised, by submitting a short description of why they should win in no more than 100 words, via the LBF website. Entrants and nominees will also be invited to submit an optional 60 second video to support their entry or nomination. www.londonbookfair.co.uk/trailblazer
Entries close on 30 November 2019.
Nominees must have demonstrated innovation, creativity, a can-do attitude, passion for the industry and for winning, ambition, and a desire to be the best at what they do.
- Nominees must be under 30, as of 10 March 2020
- They must work in the publishing or book world in the UK
- Interns are eligible, but those in full time education are not
