International Book Prize Awareness and Impact Survey

International Book Prize Awareness and Impact Survey

The London Book Fair is supporting Nielsen in conducting an extensive survey into International Book Prize awareness and attitudes.

For the second year in a row, Nielsen Book has been commissioned to undertake an industry-wide survey to investigate the international landscape and perception of book prizes across publishing, bookselling, writing, media, and academic sectors in various countries. The research is being supported by the London Book Fair, International Publishers Association, Frankfurt Book Fair, Publishing Perspectives and Agile Ideas.

The 2021 survey seeks to help the industry understand which literary prizes make an impact internationally, what factors help them make the most impact and how they can become more effective.

Please do take part in this survey by clicking the link below, which should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Everyone taking part before the deadline of Friday 30th July will receive a summary of the research findings later this year.

We are keen to reach as many as possible from across the publishing community, so please share the link with others in your organisation, or within your network of contacts, if you think they may benefit from taking part.

Thank you for your support with this fascinating piece of research, we look forward to seeing the findings from Nielsen later in the year.
