Stay Vigilant Against Fraudulent LBF Communications

Stay Vigilant Against Fraudulent LBF Communications

We want to ensure the safety and well-being of our valued LBF attendees. It has come to our attention that some fraudulent scams have affected a number of our customers. To protect yourself and your interests, please take note of the information and guidance below.

Key points to watch out for

Payment requests

We will never request payment from authors to display books at the London Book Fair. Authors should contact their publishers directly to arrange representation at LBF.

Booking accommodation

Do not make reservations or payments to hotel companies contacting you under the guise of being a preferred supplier or another customer of ours. The only hotel partner we endorse is HotelMap, which provides competitive rates for nearby hotels in London.

Email verification

All official LBF communication will come from an RX Global email address. Emails from Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo or any other email provider are likely not from us.

Contact verification

Our LBF team members are listed on the Contact Us page of our website. If the person reaching out is not listed, please do not engage with them and contact our customer service team immediately.

What to do if you’re unsure

If you receive any communication from us that seems suspicious or you are uncertain about its legitimacy, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our customer service team. They are here to assist you and confirm the validity of any correspondence.

Stay vigilant and safeguard your interactions. Your security is our top priority, and together, we can prevent these fraudulent activities.

Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
