Chris is a UK based producer who gained his early experience working on numerous TV productions in varying roles from Runner to Researcher, to Production Assistant, Assistant Editor and Director.
After working on several short films Chris Produced his first independent feature ‘Small Town Folk’, Directed by Peter Stanley-Ward. In 2007 the film was screened at Cannes by its LA based sales agent and achieved distribution in over 30 territories worldwide, including North America through Lionsgate. It was selected for genre film festivals around the world including London UK Film Focus – LUFF, San Francisco — Another Hole in the Head and also screened on The Horror Channel UK.
In 2010 Chris co-founded Treehouse Digital; a boutique production company specialising in high concept family entertainment. It is a ‘Story Laboratory’ that nurtures original ideas through each stage of production via their writer’s room, VFX studio, editorial and sound facilities. The company covers the motion picture, music video and commercial sectors with an ever growing client base.
In 2015 Chris Produced the short film ‘Litterbugs’, directed by Peter Stanley-Ward, for which Treehouse delivered all of the VFX, SFX and Editing.
Treehouse has been recognised in Creative England’s 2016 ‘CE50’ report. The report comprises Creative England’s pick of the “companies leading the charge for the creative industries, showcasing the best of what England’s regions have to offer and transforming the country’s economic future”. Further accolade has been awarded by a panel of judges (including representatives from MediaCom, Channel 4 and Facebook) who have chosen Treehouse Digital as one of the CE50’s 10 Future Leaders.

We were named in the Daily Telegraph as one of the 10 most creative companies in England in 2016.
What do you like about your job?
Continually writing it’s future through telling our stories across multiple platforms. It’s only really a job based on the incredible talent we surround ourselves with being as passionate about what they do as we at Treehouse are about what we do.

What was your first job?
A paper round – The pay was terrible so I only did it for one day but it happened to be the day everyone gave the Christmas tips out! I did feel a bit guilty… for 5mins. That bag was heavy!
