Hannah Wilson is Executive Headteacher at Aureus School & Aureus Primary School, part of the GLF Schools trust. Hannah is the Strategic Lead for the GLF Teaching School Alliance and the Strategic Lead for the Oxfordshire Women Leading in Education Network (NCTL). Hannah Co-Founded a grassroots gender equality movement and is a National Leader for #WomenEd. She is a DfE coach for the Women Leading in Education initiative. Hannah has also recently become a Trustee for the GEMs Primary Academies in Didcot and Twickenham.

What was the last book you read?

When the Adult Changes by Paul Dix.

How did you buy it?

I was gifted it.

And what did you read it on?

I am old school and like real, paper books!

What’s next on your reading list?

Inner Curriculum by Dr Neil Hawkes.

Which writer would you have loved to have met and why?

Dr Maya Angelou – love her writing, her poetry and her spirit.

What TV series are you obsessing over right now?

Just finished Seven Seconds on Netflix, a US police drama that unpicks bias #BlackLivesMatter

What would be the title of your autobiography?

Nurturing Hearts and Minds.

Which great novel have you tried to read but failed?

Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and Life of Pi – could not get into either of them.

What was your first job?

An editorial assistant in a magazine publishing house – Eagle Moss!

And your first in the book industry?

I spent a few months doing general admin at Quadrille as my friend worked there and I thought I would go into publishing.
