The London Book Fair 2016 Author Line-Up

London, 23 March 2016: The London Book Fair has unveiled a glittering author line-up for 2016 including Julian Fellowes, Audrey Niffenegger, Jeffrey Archer and many more.

Alongside the Fair’s Authors of the Day – Howard Jacobson, Jeanette Winterson, Tracey Chevalier, Judith Kerr, Nick Bostrom and Marian Keyes – authors taking part in this year’s Fair (12 – 14 April) will include: Julian Fellowes, Audrey Niffenegger, Jeffrey Archer, Peter James, Deborah Levy, Max Porter, Meg Rosoff andWioletta Greg.

Launching his Belgravia app* on the week of the Fair, acclaimed British novelist, screenwriter, director and actor, Julian Fellowes, will take part in a Q&A with Fair Director, Jacks Thomas, at the LBF PEN Literary Salon – a daily space for author interviews, literary debates and events – on Tuesday 12th April at 12:30pm.

Author event highlights at this year’s Fair will include:

  • Professor Nick Bostrom will deliver the Quantum keynote on Monday 11th April, 9:40 – 9:55
  • Multi-award winning author, Meg Rosoff in conversation with Telegraph columnist, Rowan Pelling at the PEN Salon – Tuesday 12th April, 10:00 – 10:30
  • Audrey Niffenegger will take part in a panel on women in comics alongside graphic novelist, Hannah Berry – Tuesday 12th April, 13:00 – 14:00
  • Max Porter, author of Grief is the Thing with Feathers, in conversation with The Guardian’s Books Editor, Claire Armitstead at the PEN Salon – Tuesday 12th April, 13:00 – 13:30
  • Sunday Times bestselling author, Peter James, will host a session on character and plot development for aspiring and established authors at Author HQ – Tuesday 12th April, 14:45
  • Chinese author, Xiaolu Guo, will take part in a panel on Chinese Science Fiction as a reflection of today’s Chinese society – Wednesday 13th April, 11:30 – 12:30
  • Deborah Levy in conversation with critic, journalist and broadcaster Alex Clark at the PEN Salon – Wednesday 13th April, 13:00 – 13:30
  • Acclaimed Polish writer and poet, Wioletta Greg in conversation with award-winning literary translator Antonia Lloyd-Jones at the PEN Salon – Thursday 14th April, 10:00 – 10:30
  • Judith Kerr in conversation with The Sunday Times’ Children’s Books Editor, Nicolette Jones at the PEN Salon – Thursday 14th April, 16:00 – 16:30
